These young people spent the summer learning skills that they will be able to carry with them for years to come. The young ladies learned Nursing skills and the young men learned Maintenance skills. The program was lead by the staff of A Safe Place Community Housing and Safe at Home Care. At the end of the summer the graduated and was compensated for their time. The program provided each child with a uniform and the tools they needed to perform the jobs that they were training for.
